Design Methodology
Throughout the design process, MacIntosh Engineering relies on practical engineering design, comprehensive knowledge of applicable codes and familiarity with construction techniques. These skills are supplemented with the latest design & drafting hardware/software (RAM Steel, STAAD III, ADAPT, AutoCAD 2006, etc) to provide cost-effective designs. Use of Rev-It (BIM) Software allows us to seemlessly coordinate with the other disciplines on the project design team.The experience gained through design work performed directly for contractors is incorporated into each design, ensuring ease of construction.
Project Delivery
We are experienced with all methods of project delivery. We are comfortable with the conventional bid process, but particularly enjoy the pace and enthusiasm of the fast track and design-build methods of delivery. We commonly are requested to prepare accelerated foundation concrete and steel packages, and can successfully support even the most ambitious of construction schedules.
